It all started in 2020 during my stay at home due to pandemic holidays. I am a healthcare professional who worked for 20 long years in this profession until the pandemic hit the world. Like everyone got affected physically, mentally, and financially, I got hit by pandemics. 

My management where I was working has decided to cut down all employees salaries by 20%. Still, I was ok with it and continued my job as I didn’t have any other alternative or side hustle business. 

After a few months of work during the pandemic, my health got affected because of work stress and long hours of working; Here, I have to mention that my working hours and office conveyance time together was 12 hours. 

I used to start at 10 am from home and come back home at 10 pm. Working for so long hours and a journey in the city for 2 hours affected my health along with this work stress added and all put together made my condition so pathetic that I took adhoc leaves for 2-3 weeks without informing management. 

I was struggling and in a dilemma to take the knock-off decision to quit the job as I have no other income source. So one fine day, I decided that now the time had come to decide whether to continue or quit the job. 

I discussed my situation with my family members and they said, “ You are wise enough to make a decision,’’ and some said to quit the job temporarily and rejoin after a few months whenever I feel like joining.

At last, in October 2020, I decided to quit the job and then started exploring alternate career options. As I have been passionate about computer and internet-related things since childhood, I felt this is the right option to explore. 

I have been following Digital Deepak for 4-5 years and used to get emails regularly about his latest blog posts. I liked his way of writing and explaining topics related to digital marketing by watching youtube videos of all GURUS out there in this field.

Now this time, I took it seriously and started reading his emails and exploring digital marketing. Later I found that he had created a course on Digital Marketing which I joined and completed successfully.

Now I called myself a newbie digital marketer and started exploring more about digital marketing and took up a few more courses and completed them too successfully.

One day I felt that I was suffering from shiny object syndrome as I was trying to become a “Jack of all trades but master of none.”

I was still confused about my sub-niche in digital marketing, thinking that one can master all sub-niches and monetize at a time, despite knowing that it cannot happen.

Again I was confused watching all tom dick and harry videos day in and day out. 

Finally, the day has come to decide to stick to one sub-niche; after a series of consultations with my inner self, I got to stick to Blogging and Affiliate Marketing.

From then onwards, my journey started and getting continued……….
